Marshall Tucker Band and Wet Willie

Macon City Auditorium, 415 1st Street , Macon, GA

MACONA, Ga. (WGXA) -- The Marshall Tucker Band is ridin' them a southbound, all the way to Georgia now, for a show at the Macon City Auditorium this fall.

Original Vocalist Doug Gray, joined by Chris Hicks, B.B. Borden, Ryan Ware, Marcus James Henderson, and Rick Willis will be taking to the stage on November 17th.

Presented by Moonhanger Group, the Southern Rock legends are coming back to the town where their live career kicked off at Grant's Lounge after a recommendation from Wet Willie's Jimmy Hall back in 1972. After that, they cut a demo at Capricorn Studios before going on to release their first record on Capricorn Records in '73. The rest, as they say, is history.

And speaking of Jimmy Hall, if you're happy about Marshall Tucker Band coming to town, just keep on smilin' because Wet Willie is also on the bill with The Georgia Thunderbolts set to open.
